The Day We Left

This is the last morning in our sticks and bricks house.

We all 4 slept in the master bedroom on the floor.

We did it!

After 5 months of planning, 

we are hitting the road!

The day we left, I was not sad.  I was sooooo ready to be done with the whole process of getting rid of everything and dealing with all that I had been dealing with for 5 months.  I was READY to go!!  However, I did not go through the house one last time.  You know how you go through a hotel room one last time before you leave to make sure you got everything?  I couldn't do that.  I knew if I went room to room, I would relive memories and get sad.  Henry went around room to room with a video camera, though.  He has since even watched the video that he shot that day.  I don't want to see it.  I'm sure it would make me sad.

Our neighbor, Toro, helped Henry put the bikes

on the rack that morning.  

 The boys were in the truck ready to go a good

15-20 minutes before we were ready to leave.
