December 6th, 2014, marked the 1-year anniversary
of Henry's brother's death.
His name was Tony.
He died at the age of 43 from a heart attack.
Our original plan to mark the date was to travel to New York
which is where Tony is laid to rest.
The short trip was going to be long and expensive.
Instead, Henry decided to get a tattoo in his brother's memory.
Tony was a huge Dallas Cowboy and Miami Hurricane fan.
Huge!
Henry got a tattoo that his brother would totally be jealous of.
Part of the tattoo is also Tony's actual signature that Henry took off of an Army document that Tony had signed years ago. He plans to add Tony's birth and death dates at some point. For this to be Henry's first tattoo, it was a great experience. He healed up very nicely - no scabbing!
This is Tony.
This picture was on his I-pad.
Henry went to Hold Fast Tattoo Parlor
in Port Orange, FL.
He went to school with the guy
who actually did the tattoo for him.
You can see Tony's signature
underneath the claw.
