RV Desk

We are full-time RVers, but we still need to make money to support our family and live this lifestyle.  'We' meaning Henry.  Bless his heart.  He makes the money, and I take care of the 'house', kids, and schoolwork.

Henry has a job that he can do from anywhere.  He just needs a cell phone and internet connection.  That was the easy part.

When looking at RVs to buy, there was never really a good spot for an office or even a desk for a 'work station'.  Then we watched a video about the Newschool Nomads finding and buying their new RV, and they had a great idea about building a desk in a closet.  (Not only did we like that idea, we loved the RV that they bought and bought the same one!)

How lucky were we that our neighbor is a woodworker?  (Is that what one is called when they are able to make/build things with wood?)  Our neighbor, Steve, had made other wood furniture, but never a desk in an RV.  But now he has!

The desk was built in the master bedroom in the closet that was intended for a washer and dryer.  I can do laundry at campground laundry facilities instead.

Here's the closet doors closed.

Here's Henry and Steve discussing
the specifics.

Here's the desk in the closet.
(You can see the washer/dryer hook-ups)

I didn't think that both of his monitors
would fit.  I was wrong!

These monitors stay just like this when we travel.

Thanks Steve!!
