National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, TX

I'm back-tracking on the blog for a while playing catch-up.   I finally downloaded all the pictures off of Henry's cell phone so I can share them here now.

Back in April when we were in Texas, we visited the National Museum of the Pacific War
Sage loves any and all war/history museums.  Gotta admit that I do too.

We were pleasantly surprised with this museum.  We didn't expect much because it's in the little 'ole town of Fredericksburg.   We got really lucky the day we went because the admission was FREE!

Scott did really well hanging in there.  The headphones for the audio tour helped keep his interest and really helps him to learn something since he doesn't read just yet.

One of the great things about the museum is that you can leave at anytime and come back anytime within  48 hours.  That's right.  When you buy your ticket, it's good for 2 days!
The museum is in multiple buildings.  We were there for about 5 hours (including stopping for lunch) and still didn't see it all!

We walked to a restaurant called K-Bob's Steakhouse.
Peanut and tree-nut safe!

Had to take a picture of the fabric on the booth.
I love the cowboy vibe of Texas!
