Scott's Best Buddy Visits From Ohio

I haven't even gotten around to write a post about our RV tire exploding on our trip from Texas to Arizona.  And yes, it really exploded like a bomb.  It caused $3200 worth of damage to our RV....but I'll get to all that in another post.  While our RV was in the shop, we were blessed with a 20-day stay at our friends' parent's house in Las Vegas.  They were on vacation so offered up their house to us.  Once we left their house, we went and stayed at the Sienna Suites.  It's an extended-stay type hotel.  We had 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a full kitchen.  Sounds lovely, but eh.  Not so much.  It was in not a great part of town.  Our fridge sounded like a lawn mower (all the time).  I laid a blanket down on the couch for our protection.  The towels were thin like the paper gowns at the doctor's office .  It was on the THIRD floor, no elevators....not that I would have used the elevator, but it would have been nice to not have to carry all of our stuff up 3 flights of stairs.  We didn't walk around barefoot....but Scott HATES socks so he did.

There was no wi-fi which is like a form of torture to my boys.  We got an actual phone cord to connect the computer to the phone jack so they had to stay in one spot while on the computer....and use only one device.

Henry got the bedroom with the king-size bed all to himself because he has conference calls at 5:30 am.  We pulled the little round table from the kitchen into his bedroom so he could work from his room.

The boys and I shared the other bedroom that had 2 queen size beds in it.

Sage's knees got sore from sitting on the floor while he was on the computer.
So he put a pillow inside this huge black bag to sit on (cause I wouldn't allow our pillow to touch the floor).

One of the highlights of our stay in Vegas is seeing familiar faces from Ohio!
Scott's best buddy flew back with his grandparents so we got to see him.
(His grandparents are the ones who allowed us to stay in their home while they were on vacation).
We went and swam with them one day.

We swam for about 3 hours and that wore him out!

This was his last bath as a 5-year-old!!
