November 2014 - Part 1

November 2:  Henry, Sage, and I helped my aunt and uncle move all their belongings into a storage unit.  They just moved back from Florida from Colorado.  I've learned that I am much like my aunt.  Her and my uncle have a motor home.  They have also lived in their motor home years ago for a year.  They love to travel around the country too.

The morning we went to help them move, it was so cold!
Look at Sage in his layers!
It warmed up by  noon.

Scott stayed all night at Oma and Opa's house by himself while we helped my aunt and uncle move.
Poor guy got sick while we were gone.
This is a picture of him at the pediatrician's office,
eating a red (gasp...red dye!) popsicle.

Sick baby.

I made homemade chicken noodle soup.
Too bad he refuses to eat any soup...
even when he's not sick.

So on our very first day of our RV life...
June 21st....we traveled from Ohio to Indiana.
During that trip, the rod in the closet
came off the wall.  My clothes were all in the floor.
For months.
Finally...5 months later...Henry fixed the rod.

I had to teach 2 classes (Math Games class) for
our homeschool co-op.  The lead teacher's son was getting married so she left the responsibility in my hands.
I enjoyed those kiddos.

Scott skipped his class to be with me in my class.

Sage ended up getting what Scott had.
He has asthma so it always turns
to respiratory issues for him.

A Battle!

Homemade Chocolate Chip Muffins

Sage drew this picture of our home.

Scott and I went to Wal-mart one day.
A part of the parking lot was made into an obstacle course
for motorcycle patrol police officers.
It was fun to watch them ride through the course.

Sage and I played Multiplication War with Legos.

Sage listens to audio books best if his
hands can be busy doing something.
He's listening to the first book in the Narnia
series in this picture.

I made this cheese/meat turkey tray for an early
Thanksgiving dinner with
my family down in
Palm Bay.

B!

My family

I also made 3 pies.
Here is the 'Pretzel Pie' which
is supposed to be an alternative to
pecan pie.  I did not like it, but
Henry and my cousin's husband did.

Chocolate Cream Pie
(My boy's favorite...and only pie they like).

Coconut Cream Pie
(my favorite)

This is sick Scott at 4:00 am playing video games
in front of the cool mist humidifier.
99.9% he had croup.

On November 16, we went to a family party.
There was a bon fire and Smores!

Aunt Thu Ha and her hubby.

Kids played inside mostly.

Serious game of checkers!
