San Jacinto Riverfront RV Resort (Highlands, TX)

From April 11th to April 18th, we stayed at
Highlands is about 25 minutes east of Houston.

Highlands isn't the greatest town, but
this RV resort was one of the nicest places we have stayed.
Every site was concrete which makes parking a breeze.
We had Size 0 (Zero) right next to the office so
our wifi was fast and reliable.

There was a pool, basketball court, and a set of swings right behind the office.  The laundry room was right next to the office.

Down by the river, there was an adult-only pool and hot tub...
true resort-like amenities.

The ladies that worked the front desk were super nice.
When I let them know that I was having trouble finding a campground to go to next (due to them all being booked up or for whatever reason), they suggested some places for me and even printed off a list for me to call.

There was a well-stock camp store.

95% of our time there was spent under rain and storms so I didn't get all the pictures I wanted to.

I liked our spot on the end because
we had this nice grassy patch next to us.

Laundry room was well-kept and clean with plenty of machines.
$1.25 for washer
$1.00 for dryer

Our site was not on the water...those are a little bit more expensive, but a short walk and we were on the water.

They have all these cute, colorful cottages
that you can rent right on the water.
