Our 2nd Stop

We only stayed at the Elkhart Campground for one night.  We took off the next morning for our next stop which was Country View Campground in Mukwonago, Wisconsin.

First of all, the website doesn't do this place justice.  It's surrounded by beautiful farmland ....it is truly out in the country and away from it all.

Second of all, Henry had his first lesson in trying, trying, and trying again to park our 41' long RV in a very tight spot.  This place didn't have all the hookups in the same spot making it hard for all of our hoses to reach where they were supposed to go.  We ended up having to go to Wal-mart to get an extension cord for our electrical cord late that night.

We had to drive through Chicago to get to WI.

Willis Tower (formerly Sear's Tower)

After we got the RV parked, unhitched, and hooked up,
we took off and met up with my grandma (Nanny),
my mom, and my step-dad.
We went to Mo's Irish Pub and watched the
U.S. play in the World Cup.
THEY were the reason we were in Wisconsin.

This was our site here.
You kinda see what an obstacle course this was
to park it here.
Skinny road.
People right behind us, right in front of us.
You can see the in-the-ground firepit there.
On the other side of the RV, was a rock that
kept the sewer hole covered.
Plus, add in a tree, picnic table, and utility posts...
there was a lot to maneuver around.
We couldn't keep our truck parked on the site
because it just wasn't long enough.

This is the camp office which was also a little store,
arcade, bathrooms/showers, and laundry room.

The playground

The bathrooms/showers

The pool!  Boys got in almost everyday!
